Skiers stranded on COP lift
Jan 10, 2004 - CBC Calgary, Canada - Calgary - About 36 skiers were stranded for more than 90 minutes Thursday night when a chair lift at Canada Olympic Park broke down. Many on the quad lift were members of a youth ski team. After spending about 20 minutes trying to fix the lift, COP staff used a rope system to lower the would-be skiers down. read more
