Oct 9, 2003 - Federation for Sports at Altitude, Italy - Yet another record for the Federation of Sport at Alitude. The first ski mountaineering ascent and descent record on Mont Blanc was established on May 30 by two French skyrunners, Pierre Gignoux and Stéphane Brosse from Chamonix to the summit of Mont Blanc, 4,810m – a total of 7,500m vertical climb (ascent and descent) in 5h15’47”. read more
