Foundation's ski/ride pass hits the streets
Oct 1, 2004 - Sierra Sun, CA - The Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation Community Ski/Ride Pass will return this winter for $349. This transferable ski pass can be shared with anyone and is good for 26 midweek (Sundays included at some resorts) non-holiday skiing days. Downhill participating resorts are: Alpine Meadows, Boreal Mountain Resort, Diamond Peak, Granlibakken, Homewood Mountain Resort, Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, Northstar-at-Tahoe (downhill or Nordic), Squaw Valley USA, and Sugar Bowl. Nordic resorts are North Tahoe Regional Park and Sled Use, Royal Gorge, Tahoe Cross Country, and Tahoe Donner Cross Country (downhill or Nordic). read more

Tahoe Donner XC gives back to community
Feb 13, 2004 - Sierra Sun, CA - Tahoe Donner Cross Country Resort is a flaming hotbed of community service. It hosts elementary, recreation and park, junior high and high school children for training at no charge. It must play an important part in our local scholastic teams' outstanding performances. It is a delight to come by in the afternoon and witness as many as 250 kids having a ball undertaking a lifetime sport as healthy as cross country skiing. read more
