Big Rock Ski Area to Run on Wind Power
Sep 24, 2004 - Snow Journal, ME - BANGOR, Maine - The Maine Winter Sports Center and Evergreen Wind Power, LLC. , announced a partnership today that will allow Big Rock Ski Area to use electricity generated from wind to operate all aspects of the ski area. It is believed that this is the first partnership of it's kind between a ski center and a commercial wind power operator. read more
