Too
much snow delays opening of Bear Paw Ski area
December 31, 2003 - Billings Gazette, MT - HAVRE - The Bear Paw Ski Bowl
south of here has too much snow to open this weekend as scheduled. Hill
manager Dave Martens said the facility isn't ready. "We can't even
get out there. With that much snow, it's going to take us three days to
pack it." The 40 inches of snow that fell last weekend was the
biggest snowfall in more than 20 years.
