Warm, dry is bad ski mix
December 27, 2006 - No snow, warm weather, rain. It's been a tough winter for Berkshire County ski areas. Berkshire mountain offers interstate skiing
February 13, 2004 - Torrington Register Citizen, CT - Near the top of Catamount’s summit double chair, a small sign lets passengers know there are two choices coming up. Getting off the lift, they can turn right and ski in New York State. Or they can turn left and slide in Massachusetts. Jury clears ski area in accident case
September 11, 2003 - Berkshire Eagle, MA - After deliberating for three hours Monday, a Columbia (N.Y.) County Supreme Court jury found that Catamount Ski Area was not responsible for a chairlift accident four years ago that seriously injured then 7-year-old Daisy DeLacy of North Egremont.  read more
