Resort accused of water-use violations
Feb 6, 2004 - The Citizen's Voice, PA - Eagle Rock Resort in Hazleton is facing more than $177,000 in penalties for numerous alleged water use violations. On Jan. 20, the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, which oversees water issues in the Susquehanna River Basin, issued a notice to appear and show cause to the Eagle Rock Resort Co., developers of the resort. The notice requires the company to appear before the SRBC panel on March 10 to defend why its penalty should not be imposed. read more
